Beth Decker

Beth is a licensed social worker who specializes in treating children of all ages. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Western Illinois University and her Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Beth has direct clinical experience using behavior-modification techniques with toddlers and preschool-aged children, as well as providing mental health support to school-aged children.
Whether working with children or adults, Beth strives to create a collaborative therapeutic environment grounded in mutual respect. She utilizes a variety of evidence-based and expressive approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), strength-based interventions, play therapy techniques, and music therapy techniques. Beth is committed to ensuring that all clients feel valued, heard, and empowered to have an active role in their healing journey, regardless of age.
Beth grew up in Champaign County and enjoys supporting local businesses and her community. In her free time, she enjoys singing, playing music, caring for her plants, and cuddling with her dog.
